market was established in 2010, started by only five traders with makeshift
base capital and some goods sold. Compared to the current situation, Cilaki
Market at the beginning stood was not good organized, and there was no
tarpaulin that sheltering along the selling area.

(36), with his friend started selling goods at Cilaki Market for a long time.
And he admitted, the number of sellers in the area did not make the traders
become rivals in order to get buyers.
"Initially, all of this started with a small
chat with the board here, because here we are orderly, I mean, there is a board
and we pay the taxes. Selling goods here is good in order to reduce costs for
store rent. To our fellow traders, we are friends, help each other, there is no
competition. Because the one who has the power is the buyer. "He said.
The
goods that sold in the Market are used goods such as clothes, pants, jackets,
shoes, until some antiques like lanterns and jars. In addition, the price is
the result of negotiations between traders and buyers.
"The items that are usually sold come from
various sources such as their own clothes, from distributors, friends, and also
from people who sell it to us. It can be seen around, there are many antique
items, and if you go to the edge, you will find tape cassette and jars. Well,
that's the real attraction of this place. For the price, it's an agreement.
"He added.
"Who is the target? Don't get me wrong, many
big people and collectors come here. The good point from selling goods here is
the price. It’s dark. In this case, dark means if we have something that we
bought IDR 100.000, we can get almost IDR 1.000.000 from that thing, of course
it because of the scarcity of the goods itself." Taufik ended.
Activities
in the market start from morning until noon every day. Then, from evening to
night, the stall is used to sell food. And at the end of my visit, I didn't
want to miss to buy something from there. So I bought an original cap by a
famous brand, and a pair of shoes. Of course in a good condition, and the most
