Review Proyek Maut (A Novel by Eddie Sindunata)

In fact, we as social beings should live socially, where we are indirectly dictated to establish friendships with many people, and be friends with the environment wherever we live, or maybe a place where we just stop by. Social life makes us interact with each other a lot, tell stories and share experiences to create trust between each other. But, the questions are, how far can we trust people? What would happen if the person we had believed, then betrayed us? I think that's what happened to this book. A book from Indonesian author which is interesting to be read.

Well, hi peeps! Welcome.

This book has a great idea with some big themes such as money, power and justice. Those three aspects are issues that have become hot topic lately. The story started with a member of the police who got an important task to be solved.

In the morning, at the capital, there was a big businessman who just killed by a stranger. After that murder, it followed by another murder cases against people who were joined as the member of a coalition for a mega project. Furthermore, the tragedy turned out to have a correlation with some events in the past. How could people read and take a moment in order to get an advantage from the other.

Overall, it is a very good book, with portrayals of good character, a good storyline as well as a series of interesting activities. Then, during reading this book we will be guessing about who did A, what was his/her motivation to do that, and many other things. Finally, this book also somewhat breaks the assumption of many people that the place where people considered as the safest place in the city also has a high level of "danger".***
