You’re looked so smart everytime you visit a bookstore, or even come to some events which related to education. Lol. So, now I will share my experience of coming to a good event. Actually because it has many benefits I think, at least for those who are very engaged in the academic field. Of course not for me. But I thought that I would get a good experience and a bit imagination about education, especially abroad.
Well, hi peeps! Welcome.
This
event was held in a hotel in Bandung by one of the institutions engaged in
education. Precisely, an international education consultant in Indonesia. Sun
Education Group.
Bandung was so cold that day. Actually it was enough to make my friends and I felt
lazy to leave and go to the event we had scheduled before. The International
Education Expo. What kept us going was our high curiosity, plus the event was
free and opened for the public. So we thought it was an opportunity to expand
our experiences and we would get a lot of things from the event.
When
we arrived, it was true. At least that what was on our mind after seeing a lot
of visitors there. In one of the hotel rooms, which was indeed made for the
spot of the bazaar, we were greeted by several booths which contained
universities from several countries. Not only on behalf of the university, but
the booth was also filled by representatives from their respective
universities. So the information we could get more valid information when the
consultation process.
During
the event, we found several high school students who were very enthusiastic.
They came to almost all booths in order to find the information as much as
possible, then consulted about their plans in the future. For ourselves, my
friends and I just went to a number of booths which we were really interested
in the university, and also have a subject we were interested in. As the
result, we could exchange our ideas with the representatives there, and got a
lot of descriptions about the life of the university, the environment around,
and the percentage of Indonesians who studied there. Very detailed, and it
showed that all of the parties prepared very well for this event. In addition,
we also got some suggestions and tips for how to live in their country.
Actually
we had a good time there, the conversation was very interesting. Unfortunately
our time was quite limited and the queue behind us was so long. So we knew that
we had to share the opportunity for the others. Overall, the program was very
useful, and I personally hope that this kind of event will be held in the
future.
